An award-winning novelist, Mr. Boniello’s second novel, A Symphony of Spies, was published by Olympia Publishers, London, in January, 2026.
Mr. Boniello’s first published novel, BookMarck, was published by Olympia Publishers, London, in November, 2023, and follows the adventures of two siblings who can be absorbed into the story lines of their favorite novels. In 2024, BookMarck received a BookFest Award in the categories of Fiction – YA Action and Adventure, Literary Journey and Adventure, and Epic Fantasy.
Mr. Boniello’s first book was written in 1959 on construction paper and bound with red yarn. The story was about a prehistoric creature with blood that came out of its eyes. He created one copy and shared it with his neighbor, Mr. Gervasi, who would drive hime to elementary school every morning. Mr. Gervasi insisted that youthful Boniello use it as a springboard for a literary career.
Mr. Boniello went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College, a Juris Doctorate degree from the Seton Hall University School of Law, and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from The College of St. Elizabeth.
